Late one afternoon in early August, having just looked at five more models after a summer of touring what seemed like at least a thousand homes in the Loveland area, my wife and I were headed back to our home when I made a quick impulse turn back into Kendall Brook to see just one more. We had our latest updated list of our top three or four favorites and we were trying hard to determine which came closest to what we were searching for.
Fortunately, Brooke Guinto was still at the Spring Creek model home and she cheerfully guided us through it pointing out design and construction features. We had visited Kendall Brook previously with our realtor, but had not toured a Spring Creek Homes model.
We liked what we saw and were enjoying our visit with Brooke when she asked if we could spare a few more minutes to check out the newest model under construction directly behind the home we were in. She explained it was the first one of the Dry Creek design to be built and she was very exited about its features. We entered this un painted, freshly dry walled structure and we were immediately impressed with the flow of the fourteen foot high foyer to the great room and kitchen/ dining area, as well as the guest bedroom and bath, and office. We wanted to see more!
Brooke walked us through the rest of the home showing us the master suite, the downstairs theater room and bedrooms and bath. Then it was out to the newly fenced back yard, but no grass yet, and finally the garage. We realized right away, of all the newly constructed homes we had toured, this was the only one to offer a finished basement and a fully landscaped and fenced yard. And, we knew “this is the one”.
Working with Zack and Larry to make this dream happen was frosting on the cake. They worked hard to satisfy all our needs, as well as several whims, leaving no detail unaddressed. With our almost daily visits during the rest of the construction we grew to know Myndie Neece and Brooke Guinto as honest helpful friends. Would I recommend this team at Spring Creek Homes? Absolutely! Color us proud owners of the Dry Creek!

We are the proud owners of The Vail Creek home at 1455 Red Fox Circle. After accepting a position with a company in Fort Collins, Colorado, my wife and I spent 11 months looking for a home to purchase. After all that time we were very dissatisfied with what was on the market and had decided we’d have to build our own home to get what we wanted.
Late one Sunday afternoon, we decided to take a drive out East to look at some land that had been listed when we came across an “Open House” sign at Foxridge. We thought someone had forgotten to take down the sign since it was late on a Sunday. We figured, “What the heck” and turned in. Much to our surprise, Leslie was still here. We thought the house was beautiful and probably out of our price range. So, before we toured the house, we asked Leslie “How much?” When she gave us the price, my wife and I both thought we misunderstood her and asked again. Being pleasantly surprised, we took the tour. Afterwards, my wife and I both said, “This is what we’ve been looking for.”
Certainly, the “eye appeal” and “bang for the buck” first got our attention, but the next day when Larry gave us a tour of the house and talked about its construction, many other things came to light. First of all, it was apparent that Larry was very proud of the quality of construction in this house. He pointed out the quality of materials and workmanship that went into the construction. I like the fact that Spring Creek Homes uses mostly local vendors for materials and fixtures in the house. I also felt comfortable knowing that Larry employees a consistent crew of subcontractors instead of changing all the time, insuring the quality of materials and workmanship. Whenever I’ve had questions about the home, Larry and his team has been right there to answer them.
We’ve been in this home about three months now and feel comfortable in knowing that we made the right choice. We don’t think of the Archer’s as just people we bought a house from, but now consider them our good friends. Thank you for our beautiful home!
